Miro Malesevic: Effects of Exertive Interaction through the Use of Custom VR Controller with Active Haptic Feedback on Immersion

This project is an extension from previous work from Pen Lab studio “SteampumpT” (DM Studio 6650 – Janet Murray / The Pen Lab / Fall 2017 / Team members: Miro Malesevic, Elizabeth Hill, Joshua Crisp, Kamryn Harris) and focuses on the effects of the exertive interaction on immersion and sense of presence in VR through the use of a custom controller with active haptic feedback.

The project explores differences in levels of exertion comparing exertive interactions with universal controller and custom controller with active haptic feedback, and non-exertive interaction with universal controller and their effects on immersion and sense of presence in VR.
