The Hot Norman eTV Prototype explored linking between diverse video narratives and embedding of related narrative content. Using IBM’s “HotVideo” technology, this project by Janet Murray and Freedom Baird allowed the interactor to explore the connections and backstories within Alan Ayckbourn’s comic trilogy, The Norman Conquests.
The project was created at MIT’s Center for Educational Computing Initiatives in 1998.
