The Grand Palace is a Chinese history simulation game exploring a strategy of representing a complex political system in a specific historical period. In this game, interactors play as an emperor in the imperial age of China, who needs to establish strategies to maintain his sovereignty by defeating invaders and balancing the powers of two political groups. This simulation is aimed to help people understand the power dynamic among the emperor, the grand chancellor, and the eunuch. The simulation can be further used to motivate people to learn more about Chinese history.
